Dubbed the queen of the Baroque violin, Rachel Podger returns to the Tapiola Sinfonietta for an expected visit.
Alexandre Kantorow, described as a young Tsar of the piano, returns as a soloist together with his father Jean-Jacques Kantorow, honorary conductor of the Tapiola Sinfonietta.
“Beethoven’s Seventh is a perennial favourite with audiences, particularly the second movement, which has been used in several films,” says Klaus Mäkelä.
The January evening is filled with Romantic music performed by the Tapiola Sinfonietta under conductor Daniel Blendulf.
The Tapiola Sinfonietta embarks on a collaboration with the world’s most distinguished academy for string instruments, Kronberg Akademie in Germany.
