KAMU's historical afternoons for seniors feature letures related to history and museum work. Before the lecture, you can enjoy some coffee and pastries. Seniors' afternoons are held in the Museopeda classroom at KAMU. A voluntary 1€ fee for coffee. All afternoons are in Finnish, unless stated otherwise. Free admission.
What sort of places are Espoo’s nationally distinguished buildings and cultural environments? What do they tell us about the history of Espoo and growth of the city? The lecture series reviews the nationally distinguished built heritage sites defined by the National Board of Antiquities. Lecturer: M.A., Researcher Heli Haavisto. There is no admission fee to the lectures.
Drumming is good for you! We drum together in a relaxed atmosphere different rhythms and jam. No previous experience in music or drumming is required. The library has Djembe drums and percussion instruments that can be borrowed for the jam session. You can also bring your own drum. You are warmly welcome!
