The quintets led by two rising talents of Nordic jazz – the Norwegian trumpeter Mathias Eick and the Finnish pianist Aapo Heinonen – will open the festival at the clublike Café Louhi.

Norway’s best saxophonist, a super-talented Marius Neset performs the premier of Viaduct in Finland, written for London Sinfonietta, conducted by Jukka Iisakkila.

In this concert the young musicians from Ebeli, the pop and jazz department of the Espoo Music Institute, get to show their talent!
