Weekly tours to the public

Take a public tour to get new perspectives on the museums and their exhibitions. Exhibition Centre WeeGee's museums organize weekly guided tours to the public. The tours are included in the WeeGee admission fee and no advance registration is necessary. The weekly tours are as follows.

EMMA – Espoo Museum of Modern Art

Art hour:
Every Friday at 6 pm and Sunday at 1 pm (free admission on Fridays).

KAMU – Espoo City Museum

Seniors’ historical afternoons:
Every Wednesday at 2 pm (free admission).

Pram dates:
First Thursday of each month at 12 noon.

Artefact quarter:
Every Friday at 5:15 pm (free admission).

Stories of another kind (R18):
First Friday of each month at 5:30 pm (free admission).

Family museum hour:
Every Saturday at 12 noon.

Guided tours:
Every Sunday at 2 pm.

In addition to weekly guided tours and workshops, the museums offer guided tours for groups on request in Finnish, Swedish and English. Group sizes and prices vary by museum. The group can hold up to 25 people. Guided tours are reserved separately for each museum.

Four museums, renowned architecture from the 1960’s and so much to see! The guided tour departs from the entrance hall. It takes you through all the museums in about 30 minutes.

Maximum group size 25 people.

The story of the utopian plastic house and the optimistic designs of modernism. See the Futuro House and the exhibition Futuromania – Designing Future Living. The tour ends at the Futuro World 50 Years -exhibition which can be explored independently. This special guided tour is part of the Futuro House 50th anniversary celebrations at WeeGee Exhibition Centre. Duration is about 45 minutes.

During the jubilee year of the Futuro House WeeGee and EMMA offer a special guided tour for groups:

This tour explores the printing house famous for its concrete architecture, which currently serves as the museum’s exhibition centre. The tour reveals where WeeGee got its name, why it is located in Tapiola and what kind of museum experiences people can enjoy there today. There will also be stories about people who have worked at WeeGee. The tour is suitable for everyone who wants to conquer the whole building at once and explore its unique architecture.
